At times you look at some ppl and realise their potential and then look at urself and wonder why do you ever whine !
On my last trip for Waterfall Abseiling, one of my participant was partially blind (70% blind).
You imagine her vision.....Everything is a blur. She can see what colour you are wearing but not what u are wearing.
As i held her hand and lead the way, i realised what it must be like to be in her position. The hike upto the Abseiling site was about an hour of walk. Every step she took i had to tell her "small step, big step; over the rock, step on rock " and so on....She almost slipped a few times as it was raining...What i admire the most was her courage and the trust she had on us. Every step she took, there was a smile on her face ! She was this petite cute lady who didn't lose hope.
Usually when you see any handicapped person you see a fiery passion , but she had that calm trustworthy smile which kept her goin on !
<She even trusted my technical instructor with her life while Abseiling down thru the waterfall!
