Global Fusion - Review

After hearing about this Asian Buffet place for so long, I finally entered the Global Gastronomy with my gal pal. Of what I could gather, a reservation is a must if you going for Dinner.

Getting out of the elevator you enter an all new world hidden in the crowd of Bandra.

At first I wondered where the food was, the decor is impeccable, the buffet counters merge well with the decor and the place is huge !

As we seat ourselves in the mid section, we are given the drinks menu. A lovely wine to go with the long dinner was a must. That is exactly what we did.

So you journey in the Global Fusion World starts with the ever obvious starters and soups. I have never seen such variety of Sushi in my life !

And I am not just talking about Non Veg, even Veg had great variety of Sushi. With Wasabi and other sides, the blend was perfect.

You move next to the Dumplings counter, yet again to find a variety to chose from. Here you place your call for your choices and they serve you at your table.

It does not stop there, you have your regular Chicken, fish, paneer, prawns, etc starters too !

With 4 variety of soups and other starters too, it felt like a whole meal in itself.

With our plates full (be sure to pick just one of each, trust me it gets FULL !) we seated ourselves back and took our own sweet time to finish the starters. But it just wouldn't finish, the dumplings and others that we ordered, just kept filling up our table. It was a never ending start.

But worth every bite. Dont forget to call for your chopsticks if you are good with them. Its fun ! (Took us about an hour to finish that :D !)

I after this wanted to jump to the desserts counter, but my foodie self wanted to try EVERYTHING !

So heading for the Main course, I couldn't even imagine having one bit of each. So I decided to try little bit noodles and rice. And that did not disappoint me at all. It was Yum ! Wish had more space to have more.

Now comes my Favourite of the evening, the desserts. :o is wat i was looking at the variety. I HAD to just HAD to try one of each, except the ice creams :P. The cookies were delicious and the mini pastries and truffles a bite of each made my day.

How time went by in the journey was Amazing ! I would actually call the experience at Global Fusion a Food lovers Journey.

To mention a few down-points, chicken being the easiest to cook, were not that great and some were very dry and cold.

Veg could have had better variety in other start sections apart from Sushi and Dumplings.

Overall - An amazing place, must try for anyone ! Experience worth living :)
